From Anidan we express with great concern our best wishes to you in these tough moments that we all are going through.
The coronavirus is forcing us to stop our activity, first and most relvantly in Italy and then in Spain as well. Our income is rapidly diminishing just when our help becomes more necessary, since the pandemic has also reached Kenya, where Anidan´s Shelter and the Pediatric Hospital are.
The Kenyan government has reacted quickly to the first cases by closing schools and universities and decreeing the curfew from 19 to 5 and we have had to put our home under quarantine. 79 children have remained in it, as well as a reduced group of volunteers amongst our workers. They will take care feeding, teaching, looking after their security and so on.
We have distributed the rest of our 287 beneficiaries of your help among 124 families, taking charge of feeding them and the families that host them, which implies a great additional effort.
