Aid to shantytown families

Helping the children without helping the families is futile. Besides, our work is more substantial, involves more people and has a better guarantee for the future by developing the impoverished communities in which we are involved. We do not wish to take the children out of these backward communities, although the extreme condition of the child may make it advisable and must be done, but would rather develop the communities through the youngsters who are, without doubt, the future.

This form of action allows us to coordinate initiatives through the NGO, making them more effective with a greater guaranty of introduction and maintenance and less vulnerable to abandonment, fatigue, effects of the crisis and other factors which can easily overcome a project without support. Our emphasis is on the woman, who is more trustworthy, spends part of her income on her children and believes in regularity and consistency.

We have identified the needs, have won the trust of the people, and have the necessary staff and plans. All we need is the funding to carry them out.
